Master plan to end mental pain

MASTER PLAN
TO END MENTAL PAIN

You have tried everything at this point.

You have tried to learn all about your mental health, read every single article about healing and could teach a class about it but you still struggle mentally and emotionally. You have tried to control yourself and your condition, change your thoughts and the way you feel but it didn’t help you long-term. You have tried various healing methods, coping strategies and relief techniques but none of them worked permanently. You have tried to work with a therapist but it didn’t help you and you have wasted your time, energy and money.

On top of it, you now feel hopeless like nothing can help you anymore. The longer you have struggled, the more difficult it is to imagine that there could be a solution. But there is, it is possible to end your mental pain and I am living proof of it. Let’s have a look at why it didn’t work for you in the past.

FORCING YOURSELF WON'T TAKE YOU ANYWHERE, UNDERSTANDING WILL

When I was looking for a decent resource about mental health, I came across the shocking realisation. There was none. I couldn’t find one that offers a solution. They only talk about coping with your mental problem, not resolving it.

They suggest you to control yourself and your condition. It can sound something like this: “Change your thoughts and thinking patterns.” Or even worse: “Stop being emotional and change how you feel.”

Well, thanks for that. I believe you have already found out that forcing yourself to change yourself to think differently or not feel a certain way just doesn’t work. You have been there, you have tried it, it didn’t work, you can let go of this idea.

SELF-DISTRACTION IS YOUR SELF-DESTRUCTION

Another trap is that they distract you.

Your focus should be on seeking the underlying cause of your mental health problem which is the way to resolution. Instead, they tell you to focus on coping which doesn’t help you resolve the condition only eases the symptoms. Or even worse, they encourage you to identify with it and label yourself as a victim or sufferer.

Now, I want you to imagine this scenario:

You visit your friend and they have a water leak in their house. They try to control the situation by grabbing the mop and mopping the floor to keep it dry. You look around and see the water coming from all sides. What would you do and say to them? Would you tell them to look for what’s causing the leak or join them in mopping the floor? If there’s flooding in the house, it won’t help you to mop the floor until the end of your life. You have to find the leak and stop it from happening.

The same principle applies to mental health. If you focus on the consequences of the problem, you distract yourself from seeking where “the leak” happens.

YOUR MIND IS BEGGING FOR YOUR ATTENTION, DO YOU LISTEN?

The first thing I want you to know and understand is that you are not supposed to suffer. And you don’t have to live with your mental health problem forever. The mind always seeks balance and the ways to repair itself same as the body does. It’s not natural to be in an anxious or depressed state of mind and all mental suffering happens for a reason.

So if you still struggle, there is a reason for it. Your mind is trying to let you know there is a problem. Something that needs your attention. Something you don’t know about yourself. The problem you haven’t acknowledged yet that seeks for your attention because it wants you to work with yourself deeper so it can be seen and released.

WHY WOULD YOU THINK YOUR MENTAL PROBLEM DOESN'T HAVE A SOLUTION?

Every action has a reaction which means every reaction is a result of something – why behind it. Anxiety or any other mental condition is just a syndrome, a collection of mental and physical symptoms, not a problem itself. It has an underlying reason – a cause.

That’s why if you only deal with consequences instead of tackling the core of the problem, you are going to fail. This is also the reason why the work you’ve previously done on yourself didn’t work. If you focused on targeting the syndrome and symptoms only, you haven’t tackled the root cause of your mental problem yet.

I want you to know that this is not your fault. You didn’t know until now that there was a deeper underlying issue in the background because your mind pushed it into your subconscious and hid it from you to protect you. That’s why the only thing you’ve been aware of was most likely just the fact that you had some mental struggle. Some of you have been able to recognise the emotions behind it and some of you have been able to track it back to the past. And the most aware of you found out where it was connected to and who to.

That’s usually the bottom line of human self-awareness, but it all goes deeper. Now you have a piece of missing information and an opportunity to change your life.

THIS IS THE REAL REASON OF YOUR MENTAL SUFFERING

You suffer because you haven’t processed what has happened to you deeply enough.

It won’t change without effort but controlling yourself or avoiding the problem doesn’t work. Forcing yourself to change and be different neither, because it’s not sustainable and the change would be temporary anyway. Remember, both control and distraction only prolong your suffering. They take your focus away from what’s truly important, seeking the root cause. They take you further from having a peace of mind.

Here’s what you need to do instead, let me break it down for you.

You know it all goes back to the past. You know exactly what you went through, what others did, how they behaved, treated you and raised you. You know what happened. But you don’t know how what happened affected you. You suffer because you don’t know what it did to you, to your sense of self on the core level. This is why you suffer. This root cause must be uncovered and acknowledged so your mental health problem can be released from your body and mind. In other words, you have to find “the leak.”

YOUR NEW STRATEGY TOWARDS MENTAL WELLBEING

These are the two steps you need to take right now:

1. Stop avoidance

I am sorry to say this, but managing your worry time or wearing an anti-anxiety wristband won’t help you. You still struggle mentally because you don’t know what is truly causing it. Now you might want to avoid looking at it by thinking you already know all that’s needed. Let me show you the opposite.

You most likely:

  • know your mental health condition, the way you feel and your emotions (this is your what)
  • experienced trauma in the past so you think it started back there (this is your when)
  • remember how it exactly happened to you (this is your how)
  • despite knowing all the above, you have no clue what’s causing your suffering (this is your missing why)

2. Start self-research

You suffer here and now. Your mental problem is not your past, your trauma, your hurt or your memories. It is not your emotion, your nature or encoded in your DNA. The true reason for your mental health issue lies within you right here and right now, deep in your subconscious mind where you can’t see it.

It is well protected by your mind’s protection mechanisms so you have to start a little bit of digging work. Why? Because you can’t release something you don’t even know is there. If you knew, it would be gone by now, it would lose its power over you already.

So stop wasting your time, money and energy on pointless activities such as endlessly mopping the floor that won’t dry anyway. Fix the leaking pipe. Find out what’s been hidden from you.

YOU CAN MASTER YOUR MIND AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE TOO

I have been able to free myself and my mind from suffering without any human help. How? All I did was start journaling and deep research work on myself. It all comes to expanding your self-awareness.

If you are tired of mopping the floor that’s not drying out and you want to release your mental pain, not just manage your condition to a bearable level, start deep self-research. What is great about it is that you can do it in your own time, stick to your own pace and you don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t feel like it, simply because you work with yourself.

Yeah of course, your mind will try to find excuses why to avoid the work, but now you know it is hiding something from you. Don’t give in to it, remember that avoidance will only prolong your suffering. So, if you feel called to do this work, listen to your heart. It always leads you in the right direction.
